Meet Karma, our newest signed face!

"I’m Tibetan, born and raised as a refugee in India, and moved to Belgium when I was 15. Growing up, not having your country and something big missing in part of my life I always felt like I was in between worlds never fully belonging in one place. On top of that, people made fun of the way I looked my eyes, my features, my skin. At times, it made me want to hide. But over time, I stopped trying to blend in. I started loving the parts of me that others didn’t understand. My features tell a story of where I come from, of my ancestors, of a culture that refuses to be erased. Now at 20, I see my uniqueness as my strength. Being a refugee, growing up across cultures, and learning to love myself through all of it that’s what shaped me. I want to inspire others to do the same. You don’t have to fit in to be powerful. Being different is the power."
