Introducing Elise

Updated: Jul 1

"I grew up in a small Dutch village with my mother, facing the challenges of being a dark-skinned mixed-race child and enduring considerable bullying. As I grew into a woman, I finally embraced my skin color with pride. However, in the last few months, a new challenge arose as my skin started to change, turning white. Initially, it was a difficult and painful time, but I have now reached a point of strength, embracing my vitiligo as a new aspect of my identity. I recognize that I am more than just my skin. I serve as a caring nurse/midwife, express my artistic side through painting and drawing, and am a loving mother to my children as well as a loyal friend. I am proud of the woman I have become and aspire to be a role model, especially for those still struggling with self-acceptance. By sharing my journey as a vitiligo model, I hope to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness." Booking via: hello@nobabes.be www.nobabes.be/models/elise
