Lecture Bert Cools - The meaning of being sick

The subconscious mind uses body language to guide us on our path. Sometimes complaints and symptoms appear as a powerful symbolic language for bringing something to consciousness. The question is, do you understand your body language? For anyone who is interested in their own health as well as people who work in the health sector and who feel that something more is needed to achieve a real cure.
Panel discussion with Laura Van der Vorst and Lynn Formesyn about being chronically ill
Sunday June 13 from 1 pm to 3 pm
How does it feel to live with a chronic illness and try to function in our current society? How do you deal with misunderstanding and disbelief, with insufficient support and with the loneliness that you, as a person with a long-term condition, get bogged down in much faster? What insights and rethinkers can they pass on to bystanders in order to deal with this differently? An interactive panel discussion in which we let No Babes model Laura and 'Meaningfully ill' writer Lynn speak about their experiences. We also provide an interactive round of questions with the (virtual) audience.
These activities will take place online if this should not take place live due to the Corona measures.
